11th Annual Grits Festival
Entertainment

                                                                                                           Do you like Bluegrass, Country, and
                                                                                                          Gospel Music?  Then make it a point 
                                                                                                            to get to the Grits Festival early
                                                                                       for a special treat.

                                                                                        Entertainment will be provided during
                                                                                        the morning hours by "PICKIN AND
                                                                                        GRINNIN."  They will start playing
                                                                                        and singing at the Gazebo around
                                                                                        9:30 AM.  They will entertain you
                                                                                     between events and throughout the
                                                                                        morning.

                                                                                        We are looking forward to a Bluegrass
                                                                                        twist to our entertainment schedule.
                                                                                        Come, bring a lawn chair and savor 
                                                                                        the morning.

Take Teenagers, Contemporary
Music, Drama, and Dance, put
them together and you get
RENEWED!
After the parade, will you be ready
to sit back and relax?  Well, don't
count on it, because the entertainment
continues at the Gazebo.  "RENEWED"
dance/drama group will be performing
from 1-1:45 PM.  Be sure to bring the
kids and teenagers--this one they must
see.

Get real excited!
THE SOUTHERN SASSAFRAS CLOGGERS
will be performing right here at Grits Festival at 2 PM.  Some
highlights of their performances were at the Cherry
Blossom Festival, National Fair in Perry, Peace Officers
Association, etc.  They have performed with Danny Davis
and the Nashville Brass, Jerry Clower, Ronnie McDowell,
Stella Parton, etc.  Join the  Cloggers for some real
upbeat entertainment.

THE SUNDAY AFTER. . . .

FOR THE LAST 10 YEARS, WE HAVE HAD A SPECIAL GRITS FESTIVAL "SUNDAY AFTER" WORSHIP SERVICE.  THIS WAS TO THANK OUR GOD FOR A SAFE, SUCCESSFUL GRITS FESTIVAL AND FOR ALL OF HIS BLESSINGS ON US THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. 

ON THIS OUR 11TH YEAR, WE ARE ASKING EVERYONE TO WORSHIP AT THE CHURCH OF THEIR CHOICE...STILL REMEMBERING GOD'S BLESSINGS ON OUR FESTIVAL AND OUR COMMUNITY.  ALL OF THE GRITS FESTIVAL COMMITTEE ACKNOWLEDGES THE LORD'S POWER AND WE GLORIFY HIM FOR ALL THAT HE HAS DONE FOR US.
