Who has the best Grits around? Enter you favorite Grits recipe and see how it compares to the others. Three cash prizes will be awarded in the three divisions, along with an Overall winner.

Quaker® Grits Pit
This is a free event for all ages. Weigh in before you jump into the Grits Pit and weigh in after you get out. The one who has the biggest gain in weight after getting out of the Grits Pit will win a cash prize.
Quaker® Grits Eating Contest
This is a free event for all ages. How much Grits can you eat? Come and find out. Sit down and eat until you cannot eat any more. The one who eats the most Grits will be awarded with a cash prize.
Corn Shelling
This is a free event for all ages. Get in there and shell as much corn as you can in the given amount of time. The one who shells the most corn will be awarded with a cash prize.
Live Entertainment
The Festival hosts a variaty of live entertainment through out the days activities.
Preformances are held at the main stage/gazebo at the center of the festival grounds.

7:30-9:00 AM Good Ole' GRITS BREAKFAST served hot at the Grits Station in downtown Warwick, GA. Lots of Quaker® grits, eggs, "Striplings" sausage, biscuits, juice and coffee. $5.00 charity donation per plate.

9:00 AM ARTS AND CRAFTS booths, FOOD vendors open for business. Sign-up at the Gazebo for the Grits Eating and the Corn Shelling events. Cash Prizes. No entry fee. Turn in dishes for cook off at the Warwick Civic Center.

10:00 AM Grits cook off judging begins at the Civic Center. Front and center at the Gazebo--The National Grits Festival GRITS EATING EVENT begins. DO NOT miss this! Sign up for the Corn Shelling Event at the Gazebo.

11:00 AM CORN SHELLING Event begins at the Gazebo. Very Interesting. Great Fun. Cash Prizes.

MIDDAY CEREMONIES begin at the Gazebo. Presentation of Colors by Worth County High ROTC, Pledge to the American Flag, Invocation by Dr. Carroll Camp, National Anthem performed by "Pickin'and Grinnin'", Grits Song by Michael McDaniel.
1:00 PM COOK-OFF winners announced at the Gazebo.

SIGN UP FOR "THE ROLLING IN THE QUAKER® GRITS PIT" at the Grits Station. This event is a real crowd pleaser. All ages welcome.

2:00 PM "ROLLING IN THE QUAKER® GRITS PIT' begins at Grits Station. If you have never seen it, you won't believe it. You will see people jumping into a pool of cooked grits. The winner is the one who holds the most grits on him after a timed dip. Lots of Fun! "Cash Prizes."
