The National Grits Festival has events for people of all ages.

| Grits Cook Off - Click HERE for Application |
- Who has the best Grits around? Enter you favorite Grits recipe and see how it compares to the others. Three cash prizes will be awarded in the three divisions, along with an Overall winner.

| The Quaker® Grits Pit |
- This is a free event for all ages. Weigh in before you jump into the Grits Pit and weigh in after you get out. The one who has the biggest gain in weight after getting out of the Grits Pit will win a cash prize.

| The Quaker® Grits Eating Contest |
- This is a free event for all ages. How much Grits can you eat? Come and find out. Sit down and eat until you cannot eat any more. The one who eats the most Grits will be awarded with a cash prize.

| Corn Shelling |
- This is a free event for all ages. Get in there and shell as much corn as you can in the given amount of time. The one who shells the most corn will be awarded with a cash prize.
